Notes
'Splash' amaryllis (Hippeastrum 'Splash') is a bulb for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It grows 12 to 24 inches tall and bears red flowers, and N.L. van Geest B.V. bred it. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Once established, it tolerates drought.
Pairs well with Gerbera daisy, Labyrinth dahlia, and Azalea.
