Notes

'Splashacata' iris (Iris 'Splashacata') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It grows 24 to 36 inches tall and blooms in spring and again in summer. Butterflies visit the flowers, and the plant tolerates drought. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Lupine, Prinzessin Victoria Louise oriental poppy, and Pinky Winky panicle hydrangea.
