Notes

'Spumone Whisper' peony (Paeonia 'Spumone Whisper') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its single cream flowers have soft pink shading and a whisper of green. Roy G. Klehm bred it, and it grows into a low, broad mound 22 inches tall. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Fire and Ice hosta, Dittany, Western sword fern, and Blonde Ambition blue grama.
