Notes

'Stiletto' hosta (Hosta 'Stiletto') is a perennial for borders, containers, rock gardens, and shade gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and average to moist, loamy or clay soil. It stays small at 3 to 6 inches tall and has purple-striped flowers. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Bees and hummingbirds visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Western sword fern, Eastern columbine, and Carlton daffodil.
