Notes

'Sunrich Gold' sunflower (Helianthus annuus 'Sunrich Gold') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, and pollinator gardens. It cannot take cold, and a freeze will end its season. This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil of most types. Yellow and golden blooms open on tall, erect stems from early to late summer, and butterflies, bees, and birds visit them. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It also tolerates drought.

Pairs well with Magnus coneflower, Russian sage, and Red fescue.
