Notes

'Sunrise' iris (Iris 'Sunrise') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil. The standards are lemon yellow, and the falls are Indian yellow with a yellowish orange blotch. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Blooms appear in spring and again in summer.

Pairs well with Feather reed grass, Avens, and Nelly Moser clematis.
