Notes

'Sylphide' iris (Iris 'Sylphide') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil. The standards are pale lilac dotted purple, and the falls are creamy with purple stripes and dots. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. It blooms in spring and again in summer.

Pairs well with Feather reed grass, Avens, and Ornamental onion.
