Notes

'Technito' American arborvitae (Thuja occidentalis 'Technito') is a shrub for hedges, privacy screens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It grows slowly into a dense, evergreen form, and birds visit it. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. The foliage is fragrant.

Pairs well with Panicle hydrangea, Stonecrop, and Prairie dropseed.
