Notes

'Teeny' mugo pine (Pinus mugo 'Teeny') is a shrub for rock gardens, containers, borders, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It stays evergreen and grows slowly to just 6 to 12 inches tall and wide. Deer rarely make it their first choice. It tolerates drought and salt, and birds visit it.

Pairs well with Limeglow creeping juniper, Blonde Ambition blue grama, Cheerfulness daffodil, and Fire and Ice hosta.
