Teresa lenten rose

Notes

'Teresa' Lenten rose (Helleborus hybridus 'Teresa') is a perennial for shade gardens, woodland borders, and early color under trees. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist soil. Deep pink, speckled flowers have darker pink and yellow centers and rise above dark green evergreen leaves. Each stem holds two to three flowers that open in succession, so the show lasts longer. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Liverleaf, Chocolate lily, and Autumn Brilliance juneberry.
