Notes

'The Countess of Wessex' clematis (Clematis 'The Countess of Wessex') is a vine for borders, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun to part shade and average to moist soil of most types. The light pink blooms have darker stripes and dark red anthers. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Raymond J. Evison bred it in 2012.

Pairs well with Armenian cranesbill, Catmint, and Smooth hydrangea.
