Notes

'Treasure Island' sedge (Carex ciliatomarginata 'Treasure Island') is a grass for ground cover, rain gardens, and naturalized areas. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes part to full shade and average to wet soil. Deer tend to pass it by. It stays low at 6 to 9 inches tall and spreads 9 to 12 inches wide. It does not produce flowers, so you grow it for its foliage.

Pairs well with Lady in Red lady fern, Snow Queen oakleaf hydrangea, and Ramsons.
