Notes

'Treasure Trove' peony (Paeonia 'Treasure Trove') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Yellow blooms with dark red flares open in early to late spring and attract butterflies. Derek Irvine bred it in 2001.

Pairs well with Burnet, Hyssop, Lily, and The President clematis.
