Notes

'Trebah Silver' bigleaf hydrangea (Hydrangea macrophylla 'Trebah Silver') is a shrub for shade gardens, foundation plantings, cottage gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Deer rarely make it their first choice. It grows at a rapid rate and has an erect habit. Blooms appear from early to late summer, and the plant tolerates salt.

Pairs well with Aureola Japanese forest grass, Lady fern, Blue Mouse Ears hosta, and Japanese holly.
