Notes

'Tria' peony (Paeonia 'Tria') is a shrub for borders, specimen planting, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Each stem carries three flowers with clear yellow, ruffled petals that open in sequence. It blooms in early to late spring. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Burnet, Lily, Grape hyacinth, and Comfrey.
