'Tuscan Summer' iris (Iris 'Tuscan Summer') is a perennial with fragrant, ruffled burgundy flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun. It blooms in early to late spring, and the falls have bright yellow accents around mustard yellow beards. It is not a favorite of rabbits, though hungry rabbits will eat almost anything. Divide the clumps every two to three years just after blooming.

Pairs well with Blush peony, Blue grama, and Garlic chives.
