Notes

'Twist-n-Shout' bigleaf hydrangea (Hydrangea macrophylla 'Twist-n-Shout') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Blue flowers open from early to late summer and again in early autumn, and acidic soil with a pH of 4.5 to 5.5 keeps them blue. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. It grows fast into a mounding shrub.

Pairs well with Liberty hosta, Western sword fern, and Lenten rose.
