Notes

'Vanity' peony (Paeonia 'Vanity') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Soft creamy-pink double flowers have a sweet fragrance and face upward. New foliage emerges copper colored, and stems stand upright without support. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Blue Mouse Ears hosta, Moonshine yarrow, Carlton daffodil, and Blonde Ambition blue grama.
