Notes

'Green Beauty' boxwood (Buxus microphylla var. japonica 'Green Beauty') is a shrub for hedges, borders, foundation plantings, and formal gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and average to moist soil of most types. It grows slowly into a dense, evergreen shrub that tolerates drought. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. The greenish-cream blooms are fragrant and attract bees.

Pairs well with Munstead lavender, Karl Foerster feather reed grass, and Red spider lily.
