Notes

'Variegata' Japanese pieris (Pieris japonica 'Variegata') is a shrub for borders, specimen planting, and foundation beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. Drooping clusters of fragrant white flowers open in early to late spring and attract bees. Deer tend to pass it by. Mulch helps keep the roots cool.

Pairs well with Bigleaf hydrangea, Snake's head, and Fountain grass.
