Notes
'Vincents Choice DMR' sunflower (Helianthus annuus 'Vincents Choice DMR') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, and pollinator gardens. It is tender to cold, and the first hard frost will kill it. This plant likes full sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It grows 60 to 72 inches tall, bears white blooms, and has downy mildew resistance. Butterflies, bees, and birds visit it. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything.
Pairs well with Purity cosmos, Profusion Orange zinnia, and Red fescue.
