Notes
'Vincents Fresh DMR' sunflower (Helianthus annuus 'Vincents Fresh DMR') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, and pollinator gardens. Frost will kill it, so set it out only after the last frost in spring. This plant likes full sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It grows fast to 60 to 72 inches tall, and its gold and white blooms draw butterflies, bees, and birds. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. It also has downy mildew resistance.
Pairs well with Xsenia cosmos, Profusion Orange zinnia, Cerise Queen yarrow, and Red fescue.
