Notes
'Vivid Rose' peony (Paeonia 'Vivid Rose') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. The bright rose pink flowers are full doubles with no stamens, and they have a pleasant fragrance. Strong stems hold the blooms up, and the cut flowers keep well in storage. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.
Pairs well with Royal Standard hosta, Blonde Ambition blue grama, and Goldsturm black-eyed Susan.
