Notes

'Voila' iris (Iris germanica 'Voila') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy or loamy soil. The fragrant flowers are a rich violet purple. It is one of the earliest irises to bloom. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Moonshine yarrow, Blonde Ambition blue grama, and Coral Sunset peony.
