Notes

'Wabash' iris (Iris 'Wabash') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It grows 24 to 36 inches tall and has fragrant blooms that attract butterflies. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Cut the flowers for bouquets to enjoy the scent indoors.

Pairs well with Columbine, Ice Follies daffodil, and Guacamole hosta.
