Notes

'Wandeixueqing' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Wandeixueqing') is a shrub for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Late in spring, it bears white double flowers that face upward and carry a fragrance. The blooms are richly layered like snowy mountains. This upright plant needs no support.

Pairs well with Astilbe, Ostrich fern, Pink Impression tulip, and Polish Spirit clematis.
