Notes

'Waucedah Princess' peony (Paeonia 'Waucedah Princess') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. The fragrant lavender-pink blooms have dark red flecks and attract butterflies and bees. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. David Reath bred it in 1988.

Pairs well with Big Daddy hosta, Charles Joly lilac, Black Hero tulip, and Clustered bellflower.
