Notes

'White Cushion' peony (Paeonia 'White Cushion') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fluffy double white flowers are fragrant and sit well across the top of the plant, and secondary buds give a long bloom period. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Henry Landis introduced it in 1974.

Pairs well with Guacamole hosta, Clustered bellflower, Blonde Ambition blue grama, and Carlton daffodil.
