Notes
'White Elegance' iris (Iris 'White Elegance') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil. The narrow standards are ivory white, and the falls have an Indian yellow stripe. It blooms in early to late spring and early to late summer. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.
Pairs well with Blue wild indigo, Feather reed grass, and Japanese forest grass.
