Notes

'White Flame' toad lily (Tricyrtis hirta 'White Flame') is a perennial for borders, accents, and shade gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to wet soil. Light lavender flowers with purple spots open in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. Deer tend to browse other plants first. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Western sword fern, Royal fern, and Liverleaf.
