Notes

White goldenrod (Solidago bicolor) is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and meadows. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Its white to yellowish-white rays surround a yellow center on a hairy, grayish stem. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. It blooms in early to late autumn and draws butterflies, bees, and birds.

Pairs well with Blue sage, Autumn fern, and Green and gold.
