Notes

'Tubergeniana' white squill (Scilla mischtschenkoana 'Tubergeniana') is a bulb for borders, containers, rock gardens, and naturalized areas. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Pale blue flowers open in early to late spring on erect stems. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. It grows quickly and stays just 3 to 6 inches tall.

Pairs well with Lungwort, Liberty hosta, and Blue fescue.
