Notes

Whiteleaf sunflower (Helianthus glaucophyllus) is a perennial for naturalized areas. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes part to full shade and average moisture. It grows 36 to 78 inches tall and spreads 36 to 48 inches wide, so give it room. Yellow flowers open in late summer and keep coming into early to late autumn.

Pairs well with Allegheny spurge, Northern sea oats, and Korean rock fern.
