Notes

'Who Needs A Prince' iris (Iris 'Who Needs A Prince') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. The fragrant flowers attract butterflies, and the plant grows 35 to 47 inches tall. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Once settled in, it is also drought tolerant.

Pairs well with Columbine, Meadow rue, and Turkenlouis oriental poppy.
