Notes
'Wild Rose' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Wild Rose') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Long white petals carry thick rose-pink dots that give the single blooms a pale pink look. Kelway bred it. The slightly fragrant flowers open in mid to late spring and early summer on strong stems.
Pairs well with Hollyhock, Phantom panicle hydrangea, Christmas fern, and Blazing star.
