Notes
'Wine and Roses' rhododendron (Rhododendron 'Wine and Roses') is a shrub that grows in mounds about 3 to 4 feet high and wide. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade. The leaves open burgundy, turn blue-green on top, and show burgundy-purple-red underneath. Rabbits tend to nibble other plants first. Bright pink to salmon pink flowers attract bees in spring.
Pairs well with Lady fern, White bigleaf hydrangea, and Snowdrop.
