Notes

'Wolverine' hosta (Hosta 'Wolverine') is a perennial for borders, shade gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average moisture. Lavender flowers open from early to late summer and have a sweet scent. Bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit them. It also tolerates salt and grows 12 to 18 inches tall.

Pairs well with Western sword fern, Yellow trout-lily, and Pinky Winky panicle hydrangea.
