Notes

'Woodlander Lilac' moss phlox (Phlox subulata 'Woodlander Lilac') is a perennial for ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes part sun. It forms a mounded, spreading carpet that can spread 24 to 36 inches. Large purple blooms open from early to late spring and attract bees. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Liverleaf, Western sword fern, and Chocolate lily.
