Notes

'Woodlander Rose' moss phlox (Phlox subulata 'Woodlander Rose') is a perennial for ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes part sun. Fragrant pink flowers with purple eyes open in early to late spring and give bees nectar when few other flowers bloom. Deer tend to browse other plants first. The fine foliage stays evergreen, and the plants spread 24 to 36 inches, so give them room.

Pairs well with Western sword fern, Snowdrop, and Sweet pepperbush.
