Notes

'World Cup' hosta (Hosta 'World Cup') is a perennial for shade gardens, borders, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average moisture. Fragrant purple flowers open in early to late summer and draw bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. The yellow leaves form an upright clump.

Pairs well with Fanal astilbe, Mount Hood daffodil, and Limelight Prime panicle hydrangea.
