Notes

'Yaquina Blue' iris (Iris 'Yaquina Blue') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It grows 35 to 47 inches tall and blooms in spring and again in summer. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Butterflies visit the flowers, and the plant tolerates drought.

Pairs well with Columbine, Incrediball Blush smooth hydrangea, and Mount Hood daffodil.
