Notes

Yellow archangel (Lamium galeobdolon) is a perennial for ground cover, shade gardens, and low maintenance beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and dry to moist soil of most types. It spreads fast with a creeping habit, so give it room. Bees visit the yellow flowers flecked with brown in spring and summer. Deer tend to pass it by.

Pairs well with Common cowslip, Blue Ensign pulmonaria, and Ramsons.
