Notes

'Yin Ri Hong' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Yin Ri Hong') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its fragrant, light pink flowers open early in spring and are semi-double. They measure about 17 cm (6.7") across, face upward, and open one per stem on an upright plant.

Pairs well with Greig's tulip, Hicksii yew, Irish moss, and Prairie dropseed.
