Notes

'Zorro' bigleaf hydrangea (Hydrangea macrophylla 'Zorro') is a shrub for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It blooms blue from early to late summer, and acidic soil helps keep the flowers blue. It forms a mounding shape and grows quickly. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Lenten rose, Aureola Japanese forest grass, Autumn fern, and Curly Fries hosta.
