Notes

'Alba' glory-of-the-snow (Scilla luciliae 'Alba') is a bulb for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 2, or down to -50°F (-46°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. The starry white flowers have yellow centers and open from early to late spring. Bees visit the blooms. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Pink Giant glory of the snow, Dutch crocus, and Greek thimbleweed.
