Notes

American woodbine (Lonicera americana) is a vine for borders and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. The flowers are fragrant and attract hummingbirds and birds. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. It can climb 20 to 25 feet tall, so give it a sturdy support.

Pairs well with Jako Chinese wisteria, Orange daylily, and Damask rose.
