Notes
'Andromache' iris (Iris 'Andromache') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil. The flowers are violet, veined purple-brown, with a dark blotch. It blooms in early to late spring and again in early to late summer. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice.
Pairs well with Amsonia, Feather reed grass, and Green and gold.
