Notes

'Angel Emily' peony (Paeonia 'Angel Emily') is a shrub for borders, specimen planting, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. Its fragrant, pink-lavender flowers have dark purple flares and measure six to eight inches across. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Bees and butterflies visit the blooms, and the woody stems live a long time.

Pairs well with Stella de Oro daylily, Big Daddy hosta, Black Hero tulip, and Blonde Ambition blue grama.
