Notes

'Apollo' iris (Iris 'Apollo') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil. The flowers have white standards tinted blue and primrose yellow falls with a buttercup yellow blotch. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. It grows 12 to 24 inches tall.

Pairs well with Japanese forest grass, Jackmanii clematis, and Sum and Substance hosta.
