Notes
'April Fanfare' iris (Iris 'April Fanfare') is a perennial for borders, pathways, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average soil. The pink flowers have a musk fragrance and bloom in spring. Rabbits tend to pass it by. Divide the clumps just after blooming when flowering decreases.
Pairs well with Cheerfulness daffodil, Blonde Ambition blue grama, and Alexander Fleming peony.
